Quilts, Inc. announces cancellation of the Fall 2020 International Quilt Market in Houston, TX.

Quilts, Inc. has announced that registration for Virtual Quilt Market: Spring Forward is officially open! This new online event will take place June 2-4, and include live educational webinars, Schoolhouse Series sessions, exhibitor listings, and a product spotlight section.

Though the current global pandemic has forced the cancellation of hundreds of trade and consumer shows – including the spring International Quilt Market originally scheduled for Pittsburgh – many of them have moved to the digital world. Similarly, Quilts, Inc. is announcing its first-ever Virtual Quilt Market: Spring Forward to be held June 2-4.

Vivian Lazich, owner of Sew Inspired Quilts in Simsbury, Connecticut, recently told us about a remarkable group she is proud to be a part of: Sewing Face Masks – Farmington Valley CT. This “private” Facebook Group has over 1,500 members. As of April 27, it has donated over 15,000 masks.

As a direct result of the coronavirus pandemic, and after the most serious consideration, Quilts, Inc. has decided to CANCEL the upcoming spring edition of International Quilt Market in Pittsburgh.
